In a move to address public nuisance, the Jharkhand High Court has prohibited the use of pressure horns, multi-tone horns, and flag rods on vehicles. The court’s directive also extends to the removal of extra lights, including the red and blue lights commonly used in emergency vehicles. The court has instructed the authorities to ensure that these regulations are strictly followed, emphasizing the importance of adhering to noise pollution control rules and the central motor vehicle rules. Furthermore, the court has restricted the use of loudspeakers between 10 pm and 6 am without permission.
