Jamtara, Jharkhand, is reeling from a tragic event where a mud house collapsed due to incessant rainfall, resulting in the death of a grandmother and her young grandson. The incident took place in Kalipathar village, under the jurisdiction of the Naala police station. The collapse happened late Wednesday night. The child, identified as Manish Kumar Hembram, tragically died on the spot. His grandmother, Binodi Kisku, who was critically injured, passed away on Thursday morning while receiving medical attention. The grandmother’s daughter-in-law was also injured in the incident, suffering a broken leg.
