Jealousy and Blackmail Lead to Fatal Stabbing in Jharkhand

A man found critically injured in Jharkhand’s Lavalong forest died in the hospital, leading to a police investigation that revealed a tragic tale of betrayal and revenge. Muntazir Ansari was murdered by his girlfriend, Guljahan Parveen. The couple’s relationship was complicated by the existence of explicit photos and videos of Guljahan, held by Muntazir. As Guljahan’s upcoming marriage to another man approached, Muntazir began blackmailing her, threatening to release the sensitive content. Driven to desperation, Guljahan orchestrated a meeting in the forest, where she confronted Muntazir. The situation escalated, and she attacked him with a knife, resulting in his death. Guljahan was apprehended by the police and confessed to the crime, stating she was trying to escape Muntazir’s control and start a new life.
