Jharkhand Assembly Honors Memory of Shibu Soren, Ramdas Soren, and Others

The Jharkhand Legislative Assembly commenced its monsoon session with a somber tribute to several departed individuals. Among those honored were Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, former Education Minister Ramdas Soren, and other notable figures from across the country. Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahto reflected on the passing of these individuals, noting the end of an era with the loss of Shibu Soren. He highlighted Soren’s lasting impact on the political, social, and cultural landscape of Jharkhand, stating that his ideas would continue to guide the state. Ramdas Soren was remembered for his simplicity and strong social character. The assembly also offered condolences to the families of Group Captain DK Parulkar, Padma Shri Vinod Kumar Pasayat, former Governor Satyapal Malik, and senior journalist Harinarayan Singh. The session was adjourned until the following Monday.
