The victims, Abhay Singh and Jai Singh, were driving from Ranchi to Dhanbad. The criminals, who were in a vehicle, signaled the builders to pull over. Once the car stopped, the criminals, brandishing weapons, forced the builders into their vehicle, and stole the cash. The builders were later released at a remote location. Villagers attempted to intervene during the robbery, but the criminals managed to escape. A special investigation team has been established by the Bokaro district SP to probe the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
