In a recent cabinet meeting, Jharkhand’s government, under Chief Minister Hemant Soren, approved 66 proposals. The meeting addressed important matters concerning law enforcement, cultural initiatives, and administrative improvements. The cabinet granted approval for the expenses incurred during the 16th Finance Commission meetings. Also approved was the Jharkhand State Road Safety Rules-2025. The establishment of music, drama, literature, and fine arts academies across Jharkhand was authorized. The Jharkhand Child Education Rights Amendment was sanctioned. An ex-post facto approval of 20 crore was provided from the Jharkhand Contingency Fund. The formation of the Jharkhand State Displacement and Rehabilitation Commission-2025 was approved, empowering the government to address displacement and resettlement concerns.
