A former Director General of Police (DGP) of Jharkhand, Anurag Gupta, is now facing severe accusations of corruption and links to organized crime. Advocate Rajiv Kumar has submitted a complaint to the Doranda police station, claiming Gupta, while in office, allegedly operated a criminal organization named ‘Koyalanchal Shanti Samiti.’ This group is said to have extorted vast sums from businessmen, contractors, and professionals across the state.
