Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore will lead a review meeting with Jharkhand’s departmental secretaries today to evaluate the financial performance of various departments. The meeting will particularly focus on those departments that have shown minimal spending in the initial quarter of the current financial year (2025-26). The finance minister intends to examine the reasons for the unspent funds and discuss potential challenges faced by the departments. Additionally, Kishore has instructed the DDC of Palamu district to construct small bridges using untied funds, highlighting the government’s commitment to local infrastructure development.
