A group of 15 migrant workers from Jharkhand are facing hardship in Dubai, prompting them to seek help from the Indian government. These workers, originating from Giridih, Hazaribagh, and Dhanbad districts, were employed by Masai Contracting LLC. According to the workers, they have not been paid for the last three months, resulting in difficulties in securing food and other essential supplies. The workers have taken to social media to share their plight and request assistance in returning home. Social worker Sikandar Ali has appealed to the central and Jharkhand governments to ensure the safe repatriation of these workers. This is not an isolated incident; similar cases of exploitation of migrant workers have been reported in the past.
