A BJP MLA from Jharkhand, Dr. Kushwaha Sashibhushan, voiced his disappointment after not receiving the room he had reserved at the Jharkhand Bhawan in Delhi. He shared a video detailing how he had booked two rooms in advance, but upon reaching the Bhawan, he was told only one room was available. Unhappy with the explanation provided, and questioning the occupancy of other rooms, he staged a sit-in protest at the reception area, eating his breakfast on the floor. The MLA criticized the state government’s handling of the Jharkhand Bhawan, highlighting the expenditure on its construction and its apparent lack of accessibility for Jharkhand MLAs. He appealed to Chief Minister Hemant Soren to address the issue and ensure proper management of the building. The Jharkhand Bhawan, a modern seven-story structure completed in September 2024, boasts 50 guest rooms, suites for VIPs, and various modern facilities. It was built with an investment exceeding 100 crore.
