A heartbreaking event occurred in Jharkhand’s Gumla district when a young couple ended their lives after a quarrel. The pair, a 16-year-old boy in the 10th grade and a 14-year-old girl in the 8th grade, were in a relationship. Their argument during a phone conversation led to the girl taking her own life by hanging. The boy subsequently also ended his life within hours of her death. The authorities were alerted, and the bodies were taken to Bishunpur’s community health center, where they were pronounced dead. The Bishunpur police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths, which have become a significant topic of discussion in the area. This is not an isolated incident; a similar case occurred in East Singhbhum district a month earlier where a couple in a live-in relationship also committed suicide.
