A disturbing event unfolded in Jharkhand’s Gumla district, where a young couple, involved in a romantic relationship, died by suicide after a disagreement. The boy, a 10th-grade student aged 16, and the girl, a 14-year-old studying in the 8th grade, were reportedly arguing over the phone. The disagreement escalated to such an extent that the girl initially committed suicide by hanging herself. The boy followed suit hours later. Both bodies were found at different locations. Authorities responded to the scene and transported the couple to the community health center, where they were declared dead. The police have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The incident has raised questions about the pressures faced by young people and the importance of mental health support.
