The weather forecast from the Ranchi-based Meteorological Department predicts severe weather conditions across Jharkhand. A yellow alert has been put in place for 13 districts on June 28th, warning of heavy rain and lightning. These districts are Ranchi, Latehar, Lohardaga, Gumla, Khunti, Simdega, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Koderma, Chatra, Bokaro, Saraikela-Kharsawan, and Bokaro. Moving to June 29th, an orange alert is in effect for Chatra, Hazaribagh, Latehar, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, Ranchi, and Gumla, suggesting the likelihood of heavy rainfall. Furthermore, a yellow alert has been issued for Garhwa, Palamu, Bokaro, Khunti, Simdega, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, and Saraikela-Kharsawan, anticipating thunderstorms. The department anticipates more rainfall in nine districts on June 30 and five districts on July 1, with corresponding yellow alerts.
