Jharkhand Woman Assaults Husband and Another Woman in Public Over Alleged Second Marriage

In a shocking incident in Chandil, Jharkhand, a woman was caught on camera attacking her husband and another woman with a slipper on a public road. The event took place in the Raghunathpur area of the Seraikela-Kharsawan district. Sanchita Das, the wife, a Community Health Officer, has accused her husband, Jitendra Nath Das, of demanding dowry and subjecting her to physical and mental abuse. She also alleges that he brought another woman home, claiming they were married, which led to the altercation. The warden of a local school has been implicated in the matter, raising questions about her conduct. Police are currently investigating the case based on the complaint filed by Sanchita Das. The husband claims he applied sindoor to the other woman in an attempt to de-escalate the situation, which instead made it worse.
