Lohardaga Railway Station experienced an extensive security operation initiated by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) this Wednesday. This proactive measure, ordered by Ranchi Rail Division Commandant Pawan Kumar, saw RPF personnel focus on the station’s key areas, including the main concourse, public access zones, and vehicle parking facilities. The objective was to enhance security in light of current circumstances. A detailed inspection was carried out using advanced Ultra Vehicle Scanning System (UVSS) technology to screen all vehicles present. This rigorous check yielded no findings of any illicit or harmful materials. Discussions with parking attendants confirmed that unauthorized long-term parking was not an issue. Alongside vehicle checks, passengers’ belongings were also inspected with great care. The security drive concluded smoothly and without incident. The Lohardaga RPF post consistently monitors the station to ensure passenger well-being and operational security.
