A significant operation against Naxal insurgents in Jharkhand resulted in the killing of three individuals, including a top-ranking Maoist commander. The encounter took place in the Hazaribag district, specifically within the Girhor police station jurisdiction. Among those killed was Sahdev Soren, a central committee member of the CPI (Maoist) and a reward of 1 crore rupees had been announced for his capture. Authorities also confirmed the recovery of three AK-47 weapons from the site.
