A substantial sum of Rs 35 lakh was recovered by security forces during an anti-Naxal operation in East Singhbhum district. The operation, carried out on Sunday, was based on specific intelligence. A joint team of police, Jharkhand Jaguar, and CRPF discovered the cash buried in a forest, indicating the funds were meant for the Maoist organization’s activities, including tunnel construction and procuring explosives. The police are conducting a detailed investigation to trace the origins of the money and identify those connected to it, aiming to disrupt the funding channels.
