Man Arrested for Heinous Crime Against Child

A horrific act in the Bagbeda police station area has caused widespread condemnation. A man, who had been given shelter by the family, betrayed their trust by assaulting a 2.5-year-old girl while the family members were away. Upon their return, the child’s distress revealed the shocking truth. The police immediately filed a complaint and arrested the suspect. The accused, who confessed to the crime, hails from Bihar’s Bhojpur district and had arrived in Jamshedpur approximately three months ago in search of work. The police are taking steps to record the child’s statement in court and have placed the accused in judicial custody.
