A resident of Pipra Toli village in the Sikidiri police station area ended his life by consuming poison. The man, Nitla Ganjhu, faced constant conflict with his wife over his alcohol use. Their disputes were frequent, with the wife repeatedly asking him to quit drinking. On the day of the suicide, a quarrel occurred regarding the same issue. The wife went to the market after the argument. During her absence, Nitla drank pesticide and succumbed to it before she could return. The police, upon investigation, found that the deceased had a history of mental health issues and had previously tried to commit suicide.
