A disturbing case has been reported from Lohardaga district, Jharkhand, where a man murdered his wife and then concealed her body within their home. The grim discovery came about when a putrid smell permeated the residence, prompting concerned neighbors to alert the authorities. Subsequent investigation revealed the husband’s involvement.
Raghurao, from Bhithha village in the Bhandara police station area of Lohardaga district, is accused of killing his wife, Phoolo Uraon. Following the murder, he buried her body within the house and continued residing there. The crime was uncovered after a stench filled the surroundings, prompting local residents to notify the police. Police apprehended Raghurao and, upon questioning, he admitted to strangling his wife and burying her in a room inside their home.
