The government of Jharkhand has successfully disbursed the July installment of the “Manyan Samman Yojana,” providing ₹2500 directly to the bank accounts of numerous women in Ranchi. The district administration confirmed the distribution on Wednesday. The initiative, which aims to support women, saw the first phase of payments reaching 3,86,693 beneficiaries, totaling ₹96,67,32,500 via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The scheme provides financial assistance to women across various regions of the district, including Angara, Argora, Bargain, Bero, Bundu, Bundu Nagar Panchayat, Budhmu, Chanho, Hehal, Itki, Kanke, Khalari, Lapung, Mandar, Nagri, Namkum, Ormanjhi, Rahe, Ratu, Silly, Sonahatu, Tamar, and Sadar. Women whose Aadhaar cards are not linked to their bank accounts are urged to complete the linking process without delay to ensure continued receipt of the payments. Physical verifications are also being expedited to include all eligible women in the program. Those with pending verifications are encouraged to contact their local Anganwadi workers for assistance with the required forms.
