A pair of truck accidents caused disruptions along the Ranchi-Patna highway’s four-lane section in Chutupalu Valley, Ramgarh, on Tuesday. The first incident involved a truck laden with karak sheet (corrugated sheet metal) that was heading from Ranchi to Ramgarh. The truck hit the divider, trapping the driver inside. After an extensive rescue operation lasting several hours, the driver was safely extracted and transported to Sadar Hospital. In a separate incident, another truck, bearing registration number HR 47 D 1091, veered off the road and fell into a ravine while traveling from Ranchi. The driver and cleaner survived the accident with no injuries. Police responded to the scene, sent the injured to Sadar Hospital, and removed the wrecked vehicles, thereby restoring normal traffic flow.
