During his official visit to Jharkhand, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale combined political maneuvering with social development initiatives. Beyond inviting Chief Minister Hemant Soren to join the NDA, Athawale announced the installation of a grand statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at the Maithon Dam in Dhanbad. This announcement came after a high-level review meeting with state officials at the Ranchi Guest House, where the Minister assessed the implementation of various central schemes. Athawale emphasized that while political alliances are crucial, the legacy of social icons like Baba Saheb must be honored. He concluded that a partnership with the NDA would not only bring more money to the state but also ensure that Jharkhand remains on the fast track to industrial and social prosperity.
