A new museum dedicated to the legacy of Birsa Munda, known as ‘Dharti Aba,’ is officially opening its doors today, November 29th, in Ranchi. To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of this revolutionary leader, the book ‘Kranti Nayak Dharti Aba Birsa Munda’ will also be unveiled. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to be held at Arogya Bhavan in Bariatu. The event will be attended by prominent figures, including Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram as the chief guest and Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth as the special guest. Ram Bahadur Rai, Chairman of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts and a Padma Bhushan awardee, will preside over the proceedings. This significant cultural event is jointly organized by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Ranchi, and Vikas Bharati, Bishunpur, with Vikas Bharati Secretary Ashok Bhagat also in attendance.
