National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, proudly showcased its academic prowess at the 5th Cross-Examination Moot Court Competition 2025 in Paris, France. The competition was dedicated to mastering the skill of witness examination within the domain of international arbitration, attracting top legal minds from around the world.
Representing NUSRL were students Vansh Gandhi, Shreya, Shraddha Raj, Garima Kiran, Yash Singh Naruka, and Abhaya Shruti. They went head-to-head with participants from renowned universities including NLU Delhi, NALSAR Hyderabad, King’s College London, and the London School of Economics (LSE). The NUSRL team impressed with their composed demeanor, logical reasoning, and professional presentation.
Their participation involved presenting arguments at prestigious venues such as Sciences Po Law School and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris. This unique opportunity allowed the students to delve into the nuances of international legal disputes and gain a firsthand perspective on global judicial systems.
The event was hosted by Sciences Po Law School, Paris, and supported by leading universities like Queen Mary University of London, New York University, and the National University of Singapore. The competition’s impact was acknowledged early on, with Global Arbitration Review naming it “Best Development of the Arbitration World” in 2021.
