Babita Singh, a member of the Paharia tribe from Asansol village in Dumka, Jharkhand, has achieved a significant milestone by clearing the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Competitive Examination 2023. Her rank of 337 has paved her path to becoming an officer in the Jharkhand Administrative Service. Facing financial constraints, her family celebrated her success with sugar instead of sweets. Babita, the eldest of four siblings, completed her education in Dumka and chose to pursue her career aspirations over marriage. She diligently studied for 5-6 hours daily, using online resources and self-study techniques. Her accomplishment serves as an inspiration, particularly within the Paharia community where education is limited. This success story highlights her determination and dedication. The JPSC exam results, which declared 342 candidates successful, were announced on July 25.
