Aspiring photojournalists at Sarla Birla University received expert guidance at a special workshop organized by the Journalism and Mass Communication department. Senior photojournalist Pintu Dubey of i-Next newspaper, Ranchi, led the session, imparting essential knowledge to enthusiastic participants. Students from both graduate and postgraduate programs engaged deeply with discussions covering photographic techniques and artistic composition. The workshop aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. Following the theoretical session, students participated in an on-site practical training exercise, receiving personalized feedback and instruction. These workshops are a hallmark of the SBU Journalism department’s commitment to providing students with real-world journalistic skills. The university has a history of inviting industry professionals to mentor its students.
