Mansoor Alam, a 42-year-old jawan serving as a driver in the police line, ended his life by consuming sulfas. Alam was reportedly under stress due to his suspension. Before his suicide, Alam recorded a video in which he held two station in-charges accountable for his death, alleging they had falsely accused him and caused his suspension. Alam, residing in the police line barracks, informed his fellow jawans that he had consumed poison. His colleagues immediately responded and transported him to Sadar Hospital Koderma in a critical state. Following preliminary medical care, doctors referred him to RIMS, Ranchi, due to the severity of his condition; however, Alam died while undergoing treatment. Alam’s wife revealed that he had been experiencing significant stress. He was suspended for three months and had been suspended twice in a four-month period. In the suicide video, Alam explicitly accused Jaynagar station in-charge Bablu Singh and Domchanch station in-charge Om Prakash Yadav of falsely implicating him, leading to his suspension, and declared them responsible for his death.
