Ramgarh: All arrangements are finalized for the Dashakarma of former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Dishom Guru, Shibu Soren. The event, adhering to Santhali customs, is scheduled for August 15th, with the Sanskar Bhoj to follow on August 16th. Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with family members, observed local traditional rituals on Thursday to honor the departed soul. Consultations regarding the Shraddha ceremony were held with Deepmani Soren, a senior family member. The Sanskar Bhoj anticipates attendance from numerous distinguished guests nationally and regionally. Administrative efforts for the Sanskar Bhoj are almost complete. Parking facilities will be available in several areas, including Lukaiyatand. Three helipads are ready in Lukaiyatand, with an additional one near the ancestral home. Security will be managed by 10 IPS officers, 60 DSPs, 65 inspectors, and approximately 2500 police officers. The district administration is fully prepared to maintain law and order. Traffic management, emergency services, and crowd control will be handled by teams of police, administration, and volunteers around the clock. Chief Minister Hemant Soren personally reviewed the ‘Shraddha Karma’ preparations by driving an e-rickshaw, inspecting the venue and ensuring all arrangements met expectations.
