A devastating incident unfolded in Ramgarh, Jharkhand, where a mine collapse at the CCL Karma project’s open cast mine led to four fatalities and three injuries. The accident took place on Saturday morning in the Kuju OP area. The injured were immediately taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Following the accident, local residents and members of the JLKM organization have blamed the CCL management for negligence. Protests and demonstrations are underway at the Karma PO office, with the demand for compensation. Police have increased security presence in the area.
