Ranchi: Auto Drivers Brutally Attack Traffic Cops, One Officer Critical

Chaos erupted in Ranchi, Jharkhand, as traffic police officers were subjected to a violent attack by auto rickshaw drivers. The assault took place in the Kathel Mor area under the jurisdiction of the Nagri police station. The incident was captured on video by a witness and quickly spread across social media platforms. The video shows a group of auto drivers relentlessly beating the traffic police personnel. Reports indicate that the attack was carried out by a group of auto drivers who used stones as weapons. During the altercation, one traffic police officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, suffered severe injuries, including a head wound. He was immediately taken to RIMS hospital in Ranchi for medical attention. Following the assault, the auto drivers fled the scene. Police are currently conducting raids to find and arrest the perpetrators. The Traffic SP of Ranchi has promised severe consequences for those involved in the attack. The Nagri police station is currently handling the investigation. The viral video reveals the auto drivers relentlessly attacking the traffic officers, and the officers are seen responding by using batons. The video clearly shows the attackers using stones, resulting in one officer being seriously injured.
