Ranchi Father Killed by Son Over Alcohol Consumption Dispute

A shocking case of patricide has emerged from Ranchi, where a man killed his own father after being told not to drink alcohol. Grabel Tirkey, a resident of Bhelwatoli village in the Sikidiri police station area, was murdered by his son, Daud Tirkey. The father’s disapproval of his son’s drinking habit led to a violent confrontation. Daud, under the influence of alcohol, attacked his father with an axe, causing fatal wounds. Despite being taken to RIMS hospital for treatment, Grabel Tirkey passed away. Police have arrested Daud Tirkey based on the complaint filed by his mother, Aabha Tirkey.
