Ranchi Man Kills Cousin for Affair with Wife

In Ranchi, a man named Jharia Oraon murdered his cousin, Somnath Oraon, because of an illicit relationship between Somnath and his wife. Despite the husband’s disapproval, the affair continued. Somnath and the woman were reportedly very close, spending hours together in the husband’s absence. The news of their affair spread throughout the village, leading to the husband’s anger. The murder occurred in the Narkopi police station area. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed under the leadership of the Ranchi Rural SP to investigate the case. After examining various technical aspects and questioning villagers, the SIT took Jharia Oraon into custody. After rigorous interrogation, the entire case was exposed.
