Ranchi Police have arrested two individuals involved in a violent attack on traffic police officers at Kathal Mod Chowk in Ranchi. The incident, which occurred on June 9th, involved an assault on traffic personnel who were performing their duties. The arrested individuals, identified as Hans Yadav (alias Putti) and Munna Yadav (alias Akhilesh Yadav), were paraded publicly in handcuffs at the scene of the crime. The assault reportedly occurred after a dispute over an auto-rickshaw causing a traffic jam. The officers instructed the driver to move his vehicle, which escalated into a physical confrontation involving sticks and stones. Home Guard Rohit Ganjhu was seriously injured in the attack. The police, after extensive raids in Ranchi, Latehar, and Palamu districts, successfully apprehended the accused. The police have emphasized that they will not spare those who attack law enforcement or take the law into their own hands, and the parade was a strong message.
