Ranchi Traffic Cops Attacked: Auto Drivers Involved in Brutal Assault, Leaving One Officer Critical

Violence erupted in Ranchi as traffic police officers became the targets of a violent assault by auto-rickshaw drivers. The incident, which took place at Kathal More in the Nagri police station jurisdiction, was captured on video and subsequently shared widely on social media platforms. According to initial reports, a group of auto drivers were involved in the attack, using stones to inflict injuries on the officers. One officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, suffered severe head injuries during the assault and was immediately admitted to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi for medical attention. The perpetrators fled the scene after the attack, and authorities have launched a manhunt to bring them to justice.
