A woman in the Sadar police station area of Ranchi, Jharkhand, was robbed of her jewelry by two swindlers. They approached the victim, Savita Devi, residing in Kokar, with a proposition to clean her gold ornaments. Deceived by their tactics, she handed over her gold earrings, a ring, and a gold chain. The culprits then vanished with the loot. The victim promptly reported the incident to the Sadar police station.
The police, after receiving the complaint, launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators. They are examining CCTV footage from the vicinity to track down the suspects. The incident unfolded at Savita Devi’s residence in Bandhagadi. Two men appeared, claiming to be representatives of a company offering a product to clean and rejuvenate jewelry and other valuable metal items.
