Shastri Nagar Under Tension After Gangster’s Fatal Shooting

Tragedy struck Shastri Nagar Block Number-2 in Kadma, East Singhbhum, as a well-known criminal, Tauquir alias Gora, was shot dead by unknown assailants. The incident took place on Thursday night when two individuals on a motorbike opened fire on Tauquir near the local mosque. He sustained multiple gunshot injuries and was immediately transported to TMH by concerned residents. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. Police discovered several bullet casings at the crime scene and are actively reviewing CCTV footage from surrounding areas to identify the perpetrators. Tauquir was reportedly a member of the ‘Mardana Gang’ and had a criminal record, having recently been released from jail. Authorities suspect gang rivalry may be a motive, but investigations are ongoing into all possible angles. The SSP assured that the culprits will be apprehended swiftly.
