Hazaribagh’s St. Columbus Mission Hospital successfully hosted a two-day free health camp, culminating on Wednesday. This charitable event provided free medical examinations and treatment to a total of 1323 needy individuals. The hospital distributed services efficiently, attending to 651 people on the inaugural day and 672 on the second. Key free services included expert medical advice, blood pressure monitoring, cancer detection screenings, complimentary medicines, dental assessments, vision tests, and vital blood tests for sugar and hemoglobin levels. Patients also received specialized neurological consultations. The camp further facilitated access to diagnostics with discounted ultrasound and other investigations, alongside providing a meal for attendees. Many families and individuals from economically weaker sections availed themselves of the extensive health benefits. The hospital’s director, Dr. Praveen Srinivasa, highlighted the camp’s mission to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent anyone from accessing essential healthcare. He pledged continued efforts through similar health camps to foster community well-being and address health concerns. The initiative was a collaborative success, with significant support from a dedicated medical team including Dr. J.K. Arya, Dr. A.N. Singh, Dr. Sachin Kumar Gupta, Dr. Mitali Soren, Dr. Pooja Bairwa, Dr. Shikha Khandelwal, Dr. Virendra Kumar, Dr. Rahul Ranjan, Dr. Adarsh Khandelwal, Dr. Ranjit Kumar, and Dr. Rinky Yadav.
