Swati Kumari, a 21-year-old student studying in Ranchi, was discovered deceased in her rented accommodation within the jurisdiction of Jagannathpur police station. She had traveled to Ranchi from Sasaram, Bihar on October 3rd. The incident occurred on October 5th. Authorities, including the Jagannathpur police and an FSL team, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. The body was sent for a post-mortem at RIMS hospital. No suicide note was found at the scene. The police are trying to determine the motive, looking into whether it was related to a romantic relationship or other factors. They are also examining the victim’s phone records. This incident follows another recent suicide in the same police station area where a woman died by suicide with her two children.
