Temple Thief Nabbed After Dozing Off with Loot

A thief in Ranchi, Jharkhand, was apprehended after falling asleep inside a temple he had broken into. The perpetrator, who had reportedly consumed drugs and sleeping pills, entered the Maa Kali and Sheetala Temple, broke open the donation box, and removed jewelry from the deity. Overcome by the effects of the drugs, the thief fell asleep, allowing villagers to find him the next morning. The police were called and took the individual into custody after he was found sleeping with the stolen items.
