Authorities at Muri Railway Station have intercepted a large consignment of unclaimed firecrackers, estimated to be worth approximately Rs 23,182. The Railway Protection Force (RPF), as part of its continuous surveillance efforts under the command of Pawan Kumar, discovered the suspicious package. While conducting a sweep near Muri station and on the premises of train number 18626 Express, an unattended white bag was spotted on Platform 1. A subsequent search revealed it was filled with assorted fireworks. After no owner appeared to claim the bag despite public address system announcements, the RPF’s flying squad took charge. ASI Anil Kumar and his team officially seized the firecrackers, ensuring their secure deposit at the Muri RPF post. The operation was carried out with the necessary legal formalities, including the presence of witnesses, reinforcing the RPF’s dedication to railway security.
