A grand spectacle of martial arts unfolded as the 5th District Level Karate Championship commenced in West Singhbhum. Over 225 enthusiastic boys and girls are participating in this prestigious two-day tournament, hosted by the Sports Karate Association. The opening ceremony, held at the St. Xavier Welfare Center’s Community Hall, was graced by prominent figures including Sub-Divisional Officer Sandeep Anurag Topno and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Bahaman Tuti, who jointly lit the ceremonial lamp. The event signifies a significant boost for sports in the district, encouraging a healthy competitive spirit among the youth. The championship features intense bouts and will conclude after its second day on November 16th.
