Youth Against Child Marriage: Street Play in Medininagar

A compelling street play was performed by students of Kanya High School in Chianki Panchayat, Medininagar, highlighting the urgent need to end child marriage. The initiative, hosted at the local Panchayat Secretariat, saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty. During the event, community leaders, including Chianki Mukhiya Binco Oraon, stressed that child marriage is not only a legal offense but also a detrimental social ill. Parents were urged to take a pledge against marrying off their children before the legal age of 18, emphasizing education for girls as a pathway to empowerment and societal contribution.
