Karnataka is preparing for a visit from Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. The Prime Minister’s schedule includes flagging off three Vande Bharat Express trains at the KSR Railway Station in Bengaluru around 11 AM. He will then inaugurate the Yellow Line of the Bangalore Metro, traveling from RV Road (Ragigudda) to the Electronic City metro station. In the afternoon, at around 1 PM, the Prime Minister will participate in the inauguration and laying of foundation stones for urban connectivity projects in Bengaluru and also address a public gathering. In New Delhi, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest at the Sugar Industry Symposium and National Efficiency Awards 2022-23 ceremony organized by the National Cooperative Sugar Factories Federation (NFCSF) Limited. Amit Shah will also present awards for excellence in eight cooperative sectors. Simultaneously, the rescue operation continues in Dharali, UttarKashi, which has been impacted by a recent disaster. The operation is on its sixth day, with over 1000 individuals already rescued by air.
