A man was fatally stabbed by his live-in partner in Gurugram after a disagreement stemming from his visits to his family. Harish, 42, and Yashmeet Kaur, 27, had been in a live-in relationship in DLF Phase-3 for approximately a year. Their relationship was often strained by Harish’s existing marriage and family; arguments regularly erupted when he spent time with his wife and children. On the day of the incident, a quarrel escalated, culminating in Kaur stabbing Harish. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Earlier that day, Harish had returned from Faridabad, collected Rs 7 lakh from his nephew Bharat, and left with Vijay. Around 10 PM, Harish contacted Bharat to arrange and pay for food. The following morning, Kaur informed Bharat of Harish’s death, indicating a knife wound. Kaur has been arrested, and the murder weapon has been recovered. Police are currently questioning Vijay and looking into the events surrounding the Rs 7 lakh transaction that occurred before the stabbing.
