The Congress Working Committee is scheduled to meet in Patna today, with the Bihar Assembly elections and alleged vote manipulation as key discussion points. This CWC meeting marks a significant event, occurring in Patna after a gap of 85 years, and the first since India’s independence. Previous CWC meetings in Patna were held in 1912, 1922, and 1940. In light of the gathering, security measures have been heightened at the Congress headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram.
