Ludhiana, Punjab, became the scene of a major police operation Tuesday, resulting in the injury of two suspected terrorists linked to Babbar Khalsa International. The gunfight took place near the Ladowal Toll Plaza on the Delhi-Amritsar National Highway. Police commissioner Swapan Sharma stated that the operation stemmed from intelligence about two individuals connected to Babbar Khalsa and receiving instructions from the ISI. These suspects were allegedly tasked with collecting and deploying grenades. The police successfully laid a trap, leading to an exchange of fire. Both injured individuals are receiving medical attention, and their condition is being closely monitored. The recovery of weapons, including Chinese grenades and pistols, underscores the severity of the thwarted plot. This operation follows earlier arrests of three terror module members.
