In a bid to enhance security and reduce fraudulent practices, West Central Railway, Bhopal, has introduced mAadhaar-based passenger ID verification. This move follows the guidelines issued by the Railway Board. The primary objective is to prevent unauthorized travel and the use of fabricated Aadhaar cards or tickets. The mAadhaar app, which offers QR code-based verification, will be a key tool for verifying passenger identities swiftly and reliably. The technology will be deployed on Handheld Terminals (HHT devices), ensuring secure ticket verification and preventing the misuse of reserved tickets.
