Raipur. During a program of Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP MLA from Raipur North Purandar Mishra’s tongue slipped. While addressing the program, he said that Lord Ram should be killed instead of Ravana on the date of Dashami. Taking this statement of MLA Mishra, the opposition party Congress has taken it seriously and launched a scathing attack on the BJP.
Chhattisgarh Congress, making fun of Purandar Mishra’s statement on social media platform ‘X’, tweeted, “Surpanakha is Purandar Mishra’s aunt because according to the MLA, ‘Ram was killed in Dussehra’.”
Congress further wrote on its ‘X’ post, “Gyanidev Mishra ji is boasting of his erudition for the God in whose name his livelihood depends and in whose name he keeps asking for votes.” Now even religious leaders have started saying in open forums that BJP used only Ramnaam.
