Recently, the Balodabazar police had issued a notice for the third time to the Bhilai MLA to record his statement in the case of violence and arson that took place on June 10 at the Balodabazar district office. The police had asked him to reach Balodabazar by 10 am on July 18 to record his statement. But he did not come to record his statement this time too, after which the Balodabazar police themselves reached his residence to record his statement.

Let us tell you that when Balodabazar police reached the residence of MLA Devendra Yadav, he was not found at home, after this the police team reached the office located in Sector 5 Bhilai, but Devendra Yadav was not there either. At present the police is present in his office and is interrogating the employees.

It is worth noting that even before this, on 8th and 16th July, Balodabazar police had issued notice to Devendra Yadav. He was to be questioned in the Balodabazar violence case. According to the police, Devendra Yadav was also present in the program on the day violence took place in Balodabazar. Therefore, the police want to know his role by questioning him. But MLA Devendra Yadav has filed a petition in the High Court regarding this matter. MLA Yadav had said that he will wait for the decision of the High Court, after that whatever instructions come will be followed.
